EDUCATION:
Master’s degree in social work (LLMSW, or LMSW), psychology (TLLP or LLP), professional counseling (LLPC or LLP) or related field.
EXPERIENCE:
One year experience working with individuals with children with serious emotional disturbance (SED) and/or intellectual disability. Two years’ experience in a human services agency required. Experience with Motivational Interviewing, Parent Management Training –Oregon, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and community resources preferred.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Join an expanding team of children’s outpatient therapists at Shiawassee Health & Wellness. SHW is an innovative Community Mental Health organization nestled in a rural community. We are seeking a clinician to provide support to children and families, including individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy. Therapy services are provided in a comfortable office Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule. The therapist is provided clinical support and supervision to manage scheduling, documentation, as well as clinical case consultation.

Responsibilities include assessing and identifying treatment needs, monitoring service delivery, providing therapy, service plan development, and collaborating with other agencies in the community. Clinicians will have opportunities to learn and
apply evidenced based practices, groups and provide crisis intervention to ensure the safety of individuals served.

RANGE OF PAY:
Annual Salary Range $48,563.60 – $62,161.40
